KARACHI, July 3, 2026: Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Karachi Joohoon Kim visited Mazar-e-Quaid on July 2 to pay respects to Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan's first Governor-General and Founder of the Nation.
During the visit, the Korean Consul General was received by the honour guard before laying a wreath at the mausoleum and signing the guestbook.
The visit provided an opportunity to pay tribute to the founder of Pakistan at one of Karachi's most prominent national landmarks.
The Korean mission noted that Mazar-e-Quaid, completed in 1970, combines modernist and Islamic architectural elements and has become an important landmark of Karachi and Pakistan.
The visit was reported by the Karachi Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea on July 3.
