KARACHI, July 22, 2026: The Consulate General of Malaysia in Karachi organised an engagement programme for Malaysian students studying in Pakistan, aimed at strengthening ties between the mission and the Malaysian student community.
The programme was held on July 17 in cooperation with the Malaysian Students Association Pakistan, particularly students from Jamia Binoria Aalamia.
The event began with the recitation of Surah Yasin, followed by remarks from the student representative and the Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi.
The Consul General welcomed newly enrolled students and offered advice and encouragement as they began their studies. He also informed participants that he would complete his assignment in Karachi at the end of July.
Certificates of appreciation were subsequently presented to students in recognition of their commitment and cooperation.
The programme also included a gathering featuring traditional Malaysian food prepared by the students, followed by an informal interaction involving students and members of the Consulate community.
According to the Consulate, the programme strengthened relations between the mission and Malaysian students while promoting unity, cooperation and a sense of community among Malaysians living and studying abroad.
